Automation preserves life Based on KUKA robotic technology, the Cyberknife is the world's first, and so far only, robot-controlled radiosurgery system to be developed for treatment of solid tumors in any part of the human body. This system can be used to treat patients with sub-millimeter precision and without operations, pain or the need to stay in hospital. A digital imaging system keeps the tumor permanently in the cross hairs, thus minimizing damage to healthy tissue.
